There is a better way. A way tried and proved by millions of people for nearly 2000 years and a way that provides hope and peace for countless millions today.
It is a way that many in our country reject without really trying. That way is Jesus Christ.
As a nation we celebrate His birth, we remember His death and celebrate His resurrection, but fail to share in His life.
Jesus died to give us all the opportunity of a new life, a life of meaning, purpose, hope and fulfilment. A life to be enjoyed now, not just in some dim and distant eternity.
If you are ready for a change, we invite you to come and learn more about Jesus this Sunday, at New Life Christian Fellowship, Middlefield Lane Gainsborough starting at 6:30 p.m.
Millions of people in this country are longing for their lives to change.......
How do I know?
Some time ago it was estimated that 9 out of 10 people took part in the National Lottery to try and win a share of £40,000,000. 9 out of 10 people must want their lives to change and see money as the answer. Money can make misery more comfortable but, as the old adage says, money cannot buy happiness.
There are many well off pill poppers, drug addicts and alcoholics desperately trying to find happiness, or a cessation of pain, in these artificial stimulants.
Many who have hit the financial jackpot have ended up with burnt out lives, burnt out brains and death. As someone who used to work in the pop industry, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley and more recently Kurt Cobain come to mind.
Others relate their quest for happiness and inner peace to a perfect relationship. Our country is now reeling under the pressure of broken relationships, broken marriages, abandoned, abused and underprivileged children, as people look for a perfect partner.

God says in the Bible “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, ”plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
This is not a Lottery, Jesus has promised to come into the life of all who call on Him. With Jesus, everyone can be a winner.
God loves you
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jesus died for your sin
1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Sin is a common human experience
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Sin has a consequence
Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned --
Jesus wants to cleanse you from your sin
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
You need to call on Him.
Romans 10:13 For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved."
Those who call receive the gift of eternal life
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
